Outdoor Ceremonies

If your Ceremony is planned for an outdoor public venue here on the Sunshine Coast your local Sunshine Coast Council requires that you contact them for a permit, approx $150. This will ensure the area isn’t already  booked for a festival or another function. However be aware it does not stop the public from using the area. Please be aware that the area is maintained on a routine maintenance program and will not be specifically groomed prior to your ceremony. It is a good idea to send someone to your chosen site early to check for rubbish.  Please click here to access the Sunshine Coast Council website for the paper work you will need.
